great work guys...
wish i couldve joined you
turned out wonderfully
maby next time
haha
i think its funny that you can actionscript a trajectory/gravity engine, but you just couldnt seem to tween your intro. man, talk about about backwards...
sweet zombie jesus on a pogo stick!
stop submitting this shit... this is the third game youve submitted in 4 days, and you arent really improving it. you just change the background, the music, and this time you tinted the screen. come up with another idea. or at least make some gameplay improvements. no one should have a one-day turnaround. it should take you at LEAST a week to improve enough to turn around and re-release the game with another version number.
glaiel strikes again
hahaha... screw beta i guess. great job tho. i knew itd turn out well. you did better than i expected... a thousand 5's for you
now playing: hoverbot
gotta tell you. this game, though good in its previous form on the "motivate" thread, didnt really see much improvement from that, aside from music and backgrounds. the game is still good, and it was back at that point. keep up the great work, and im glad that you finished it... all my fives belong to you RIGHT NOW!
thanks! Glad your really enjoying the game. Thanks for a great review. Yes, I will also revisit that thread for any other games I make =D
great game... if it had collision detection
please email me or something... i will help you with collision detection. this game will be AMAZING with collision detection, just like your last one. ill explain a simple and effective way to do it, just get in touch with me. i loved your games so far, but you will make frontpage with these if you would just add in collision detection
I don't think your magic collision detector would work with my suck ass code. You see the character stays still, and the ground moves around him, therfore, cos the ground is a big hulking beast, it can't ditinguish between house and road.
hmmm, another tutorial...
are you sure you are familiar with "expert" level flash in order to make a tutorial on it? i mean, if you consider expert "lets have a _root.score textbox", then dont waste your time. expert level is something attain, you dont learn it from some flash tutorial. it is a long, arduous process of trial and error and learning what works best for you.
what im saying is, cut your losses. leave your "tutorial series" alone, and dont bother making anymore. somehow you passed judgement with this. dont push your luck.
welcome to the portal
for a first flash, i thought you did really well. i played for about five levels before i quit, but i definately could see the effort that went into this game. try to continue this into a series with other things to pick up, and a bit more exposition on the character. otherwise, this was a wonderful first try, and i cant wait to see what else you can do in the portal.
wonderful
EXCELLENT game. i got thru probably 20 levels... to the forest... it was an amazing game. you did a great job. keep it up!
