victim of the situation

im very glad you released this on your own. on behalf of spammy and myself, i apologize that the API collab died out, but you had the best piece, honestly, and im glad you ended up doing something with it. it turned out magnificently...

Newsdee responds:

Thanks; no need to apologize for the collab, after all it died because many people just lost interest. At least, I'm glad I was able to inspire others to make something as well (other than glad to get this game out of it :D). Now I just need to come up with good ideas to use this engine in a bigger game...

i cant bring myself NOT to comment...

i cant decide yet if you were joking with this or not. on the one hand, if you are joking, then i hate you because it wasnt very funny, and it didnt do an adequate job mocking tutorial flashes. on the other had, if you were serious, then i hate you for being a n00b writing tutorials for n00bs. this is so painfully basic that, joking or not, it does not work out in your favour...

Bezilon responds:

Srew u... I made this because it'"s anoying to see invisible Preloaders and I think it's because a lot of people dunno how to do it... :P

great work, FM

haha... i am a goy...
great work. solid game. ill be back to play more of this.

FrostedMuffins responds:

Haha, thanks a lot you goy. This would have never of been submitted if it weren't for you. Thanks a lot!

mediocre

that music gave me a headache, but i wont hold it against you, since i was able to turn off my headphones. the gameplay was cute, but a bit TOO basic. the customizability was nice, but i think it was a bit too negligable. good work, but try something with a bit more depth.

DekapitatoR responds:

Thanks.

heh

great work guys...
wish i couldve joined you

turned out wonderfully

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

maby next time

now playing: hoverbot

gotta tell you. this game, though good in its previous form on the "motivate" thread, didnt really see much improvement from that, aside from music and backgrounds. the game is still good, and it was back at that point. keep up the great work, and im glad that you finished it... all my fives belong to you RIGHT NOW!

TrueDarkness responds:

thanks! Glad your really enjoying the game. Thanks for a great review. Yes, I will also revisit that thread for any other games I make =D

great game... if it had collision detection

please email me or something... i will help you with collision detection. this game will be AMAZING with collision detection, just like your last one. ill explain a simple and effective way to do it, just get in touch with me. i loved your games so far, but you will make frontpage with these if you would just add in collision detection

joe-kangaroo responds:

I don't think your magic collision detector would work with my suck ass code. You see the character stays still, and the ground moves around him, therfore, cos the ground is a big hulking beast, it can't ditinguish between house and road.

keep it up ^_^

i got to level 12 and 3050
wonderful game, i love it... its so cute.

dodecagon responds:

Thanks :) The cute feeling was what I was aiming for when I made it.

great job really

damn. even i was wrong. if its any consolation, i thought your game deserved at least a 4... but i predicted this one pretty well (unless things change, the score as of me writing this is 3.66/5.00 with 238 votes)

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

When it was under judgment easy and hard modes didn''t work, and people votes lower, but I fixed that now, and it's score continues to rise. But hey, I have a whole nother day for it's score to rise for a portal award.

good job

i know how difficult it is to do collision control on an area larger than the stage (check out my racing game. same concept, somewhat smaller)... if you can work it out, however, you have an excellent game on your hands. good luck on future releases.

all i can say is that if you do collision control and touch up the game a bit (such as make the stage background green so it at least LOOKS like grass), you will definately be on my favorites list.

joe-kangaroo responds:

Collision detection sucks don't it? I know what you mean about the green background. the next part is set in Cuba, and that is greener, come to Doncaster, you'll relise how plain and grey it is.
